BACDA choreographed and produced the opening ceremony for the 2009 North American Bengali Conference — the largest annual gathering of the Bengali diaspora in North America. A multi-tier cast of regional dancers carried the audience across Bengal's classical-to-folk continuum in a single evening, for a crowd of several thousand. The ceremony remains one of the most-referenced early productions on the company's YouTube channel.
